How has urban agriculture improved the environmental and political education of the local communities in Santiago de Chile?

Abstract

This paper suggests that the projects have assumed the responsibility of educating the citizens about environmental, political and current issues, especially in areas that the state does not cover. Through workshops, events and parties, the groups disseminate indigenous knowledge, cultural information and environmental practices.
